Powerful Explosion in Baharak District.
Local sources in Baharak District, Badakhshan Province, reported an explosion at the watchtower of the 14th Border Battalion in Qalatak.
Reports indicate the explosion occurred on Friday, February 13, 2026 , around 7:10 PM.
So far, no details have been released regarding possible casualties or damage from the explosion. Sources say the Taliban are investigating to determine the type of attack and resulting casualties.
This explosion comes after anti-Taliban fronts had previously claimed responsibility for attacks on Taliban positions in various northern areas.
