Two Citizens Wounded in Overnight Taliban Gunfire in Kabul.
Two residents of Kabul say they were targeted in a violent act by Taliban members last night.
The incident occurred near their home in District Fifteen of Kabul city and threatened their lives without any warning or clear reason.
Mansoor Hajatmand and Javid Osmani, who identified themselves as the victims of the attack, said that one bullet hit Mansoor in the back and another struck his leg, while two additional bullets hit Javid in the legs.
Both citizens are currently hospitalized, and their physical condition has been reported as worrying.
The victims have called on authorities to punish those responsible for the shooting, an incident that represents yet another example of repeated Taliban attacks on civilians in Kabul.
Such violent behavior seriously threatens public security and shows that the group’s armed threats against citizens continue without any official accountability.
