Helmand – Local sources in Helmand province reported a clash between Taliban forces and Pakistani border guards in the border district of Bahramcheh.

According to the sources, the exchange of fire between the two sides began around 9 am today and continued for some time. According to local witnesses, the clashes began when Pakistani forces opened fire on a convoy carrying two Taliban containers that were moving towards a newly established checkpoint.

No exact details of the casualties or possible damage have been released, and official sources on both sides have not commented.
